The fine print.

StartKaro is owned and operated by CLOUDYML E-LEARNING (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED. References to "StartKaro", "we", "us", or "our" refer to this entity. StartKaro is a community platform — available on the web and as mobile apps — where founders share ideas, journey updates, and thoughts, get feedback, and connect with one another.

By creating an account or using StartKaro you agree to use the service for lawful purposes only, to provide accurate account information, and to follow these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use StartKaro.

StartKaro is provided on an "as is" basis. We are not responsible for content posted by other members, and we may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms or our content rules.

You own the content you post — your ideas, updates, thoughts, comments, images, and messages. By posting, you grant StartKaro a licence to store, display, and distribute that content within the service so it can be shown to other members. You are responsible for what you post.

You may not post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, infringing, spam, or otherwise objectionable. We have zero tolerance for abusive users and objectionable content: you can report content and block users from within the app, and we review reports and remove violating content and accounts — typically within 24 hours. We may remove any content or account at our discretion.

To operate StartKaro we collect the information you provide — your name, email address, profile details, and the content and media you post — along with limited technical data such as a device push token used to deliver notifications. We use this to run the service: authentication, your profile and posts, messaging, and notifications.

We also collect usage and product-analytics data to understand how StartKaro is used and to improve it — for example the screens and pages you view, actions such as posting or searching, your approximate active time, and device and app information. This includes session recordings of app and website usage. Sensitive content — direct messages, email addresses, and text you type into fields — is masked in these recordings.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We rely on a small set of processors to operate and improve the service — MongoDB Atlas (database), Vercel and Vercel Blob (hosting and media storage), Resend (transactional email), Pusher (real-time messaging), Expo (push notifications), and PostHog (product analytics and session replay) — each processing data only as needed. Some of these processors, including PostHog, process data on servers in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit.

To access, correct, or delete your data, use in-app account deletion (below) or write to hi@startkaro.io.

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time — in the app via Settings → Delete account, or on the web at startkaro.io/delete-account. Deletion removes your profile, ideas, updates, thoughts, comments, reactions, follows, and messages, and cannot be undone.
